General Policies & Procedures

Registration

Parents may enroll their child in a BSS Instrumental Program of their choice by submitting a completed application form, accompanied by a onetime non-refundable registration fee. Teacher assignments are carefully evaluated; lesson time availabilities are scheduled on a first-come basis. Applicants are placed on our waiting list according to the date of paid registration.

Tuition Payment

Semesters in the Fall and Spring are 15 weeks each; tuition is due in full at the beginning of each semester. Parents who require it may use an installment plan of payment with prior approval. Parents are responsible for bank charges incurred due to returned checks.

Absences

Instructor absence will be made up by the teacher at a mutually convenient time. A parent who anticipates an absence, may switch lesson times with another family and notify their teacher. Lessons missed by a student are not made up.

Refund Policy

There are no tuition refunds after the fourth week of private instruction. Withdrawals prior to that date are eligible for a pro-rated tuition refund.
